I don’t know much except this: there are no easy answers, there are no right answers. You just do what you honestly believe is right and hope and pray that is the case.

Then your heart breaks when it isn’t.

There are no right alternatives.

Every option brings hurt.

Look after one, the one with the obvious needs, neglect those whose needs are more hidden and less obvious until they burst to the surface in pain and grief.

With no Show button to hit to see what you should have done and no Undo to fix your mistakes.

I told a friend the other day that life is just one step, one day, and one and one and on we go.

Until we hit the unmovable obstacle and come to a shuddering halt.

What then?

What move now?

On and on, I suppose. The only option in the end. On and on, knowing the harm may well be permanent, wondering how it all went so wrong.
