Some senses, very little sense.

This summer I am continuing my exploration of creativity, specifically my creativity. Perhaps a more honest thing would be to say I am trying to see if I HAVE any creativity.

I have been undertaking a number of courses with the wonderful and talented Vivienne McMaster. Vivienne just bursts with energy and creativity, it is such a joy to join her and her groups for these courses. I have also joined Liz Lamoreux who is hosting an online read-along of her book inner Excavation. You can also get it on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk. Please note, these are NOT affiliate links, I get nothing out of it nor am I asking to, I just thought you might like to know how to get the book if you were interested.

This week we are thinking about senses.

SMELL.

TOUCH.

TASTE.

FEEL.

Yes, I know, touch and feel belong to the same sense. I like the shots.

They also fall under light hunting which I have been exploring with Vivienne.

Now, on to family things.

13.

I haven’t written much about 13 or our family recently. I will say nothing too much about why in case I put the kibosh on things.

This weekend sees 13′s next respite session. We plan to make the most of it by celebrating my father-in-law’s birthday a little early. He will be 80 on the 26th of the month however since the date we have free is the 22nd and that is a Friday then that is the date we are taking to have his birthday dinner.

We decided going out for a meal was probably the easiest option.

It also happens to be 21′s birthday. He will be 22. You know, in case you can’t work out what age someone will be after being 21. Every now and again my mother-in-law announces that we are all going out for my son’s birthday. I remind her it is for her husband’s. I am being pedantic I suppose. We have done 21′s birthday dinner on the 8th along with his dad’s.

There are too many birthdays in June, it makes it all terribly confusing. We have the same thing in December when MiL, 17 and I all have birthdays.

This time we get to experience parenting grown kids with the presence of the boys’ girlfriends.

There will be no pretending we have kids any more. We have adults.
